Static and Dynamic Analysis of Linear Switched Reluctance Machine [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications, 2011
This paper deals with the static and dynamic analysis of the Linear Switched Reluctance Machine (LSRM). The static parameters are investigated by means of Finite Element Method (FEM) for real LSRM and also for its optimized construction topology, where ...

Nonlinear dynamic simulation model of switched reluctance linear machine

open access: yesProcedia Earth and Planetary Science, 2009
The developed switched reluctance linear machine system is presented, which consists of three-phase 6/4 pole switched reluctance linear machine, three-phase asymmetric bridge power converter and a digital controller. The sketch map and the photograph of the three-phase 6/4 pole switched reluctance linear machine are also given.

Dynamic Non-linear Model Of A Switched Reluctance Machine For Operation As Motor/generator [PDF]

open access: yesEletrônica de Potência, 2010
This paper presents a dynamic model successfully applied to simulate the operation of a switched reluctance machine. The model takes nonlinearity into account inserting machine parameters and properties as tabulated data.

Design and Control of a Transverse Flux Linear Switched Reluctance Machine for Rail Transit Application

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
The design, optimization and control methods of a transverse flux Linear Switched Reluctance Motor (LSRM) for the rail transit application are introduced. Two structures of LSRMs, EI type and EE type, are compared and analyzed.

Complimentary Force Allocation Control for a Dual-Mover Linear Switched Reluctance Machine [PDF]

open access: yesEnergies, 2017
This paper inspects the complementary force allocation control schemes for an integrated, dual-mover linear switched reluctance machine (LSRM). The performance of the total force is realized by the coordination of the two movers. First, the structure and

Comparative Study of Linear Variable Flux Reluctance Machine with Linear Wound Field Flux Reversal Machine

open access: yesCES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems, 2023
As members of doubly salient magnetless linear machines, linear variable flux reluctance (LVFR) and wound field flux reversal (LWFFR) machines inherit the merits of conventional magnetless linear machines such as low cost, high flux adjustment capability

Lumped parameter thermal model for segmental translator linear switched reluctance motor

open access: yesIET Electric Power Applications, 2023
The segmental translator linear switched reluctance motor (STLSRM) is a special type of linear switched reluctance motor (LSRM) that has more output power than its conventional type. Therefore, it can be a good choice for certain applications.

Hierarchical Distributed Motion Control for Multiple Linear Switched Reluctance Machines [PDF]

open access: yesEnergies, 2017
This paper investigates a distributed, coordinated motion control network based on multiple direct-drive, linear switched reluctance machines (LSRMs). A hierarchical, two-level synchronization control strategy is proposed for the four LSRMs based motion ...

Vibration Analysis of Tapered Pole Linear Switched Reluctance Machine

open access: yesInternational Journal of Power Electronics and Drive Systems (IJPEDS), 2017
The Vibration is one of the major problem in linear switched reluctance motors (LSRMs). This paper present a detailed analysis of vibration in a two phase LSRM and proposes a new structure to reduce the effect. The experimental results of this paper prove that the proposed structure is well suited for conveyor application.
