Mutual fund director compensation
Journal of Financial Research, EarlyView.Abstract We examine director compensation using a large sample of hand‐compiled U.S. mutual fund data. We find that director compensation is positively correlated with observable productive characteristics—workload, experience, and demographics—that capture the benefits from the directors’ monitoring effort.

The Effects of Regulatory Office Closures on Bank Behavior
Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, EarlyView.Abstract We investigate if the decentralized structure of regulatory office networks influences supervisory outcomes and bank behavior. Following the closure of an office, banks previously supervised by that office increase their lending and risk‐taking.

IET Electric Power Applications, 2019 The longitudinal end effect of switched reluctance linear machine (SRLM) makes the electromagnetic characteristics of different phases unbalanced, especially in magnetic flux distributions. These discrepancies unbalance phase currents and aggravate the force ripple of SRLM, which are verified on a double‐sided SRLM.
