Circulating tumor cells in metastatic breast cancer patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors – a biomarker analysis of the ALICE and ICON trials

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative biomarker analysis, we assessed serial sampling of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) with CellSearch in two randomized trials testing immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in metastatic breast cancer. Our data demonstrate a prognostic potential of CTCs, most apparent 4 weeks into ICI therapy.

On Existence of Uniformly Marginally Stable Zeros of Linear Sampled-Data Systems and Its Application to Stable Inversion-Based Control

open access: yesIEEE Access
This paper investigates a class of sampled-data control systems in which at least one of the discrete-time zeros remains on the unit circle regardless of the sampling period.

Circulating tumor cells: advancing personalized therapy in small cell lung cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is an aggressive form of lung cancer that spreads rapidly to secondary sites such as the brain and liver. Cancer cells circulating in the blood, “circulating tumor cells” (CTCs), have demonstrated prognostic value in SCLC, and evaluating biomarkers on CTCs could guide treatment decisions such as for PARP inhibitors ...

A comparative study of circulating tumor cell isolation and enumeration technologies in lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Lung cancer cells were spiked into donor blood to evaluate the recovery rates of the following circulating tumor cell (CTC) enrichment technologies: CellMag™, EasySep™, RosetteSep™, Parsortix® PR1, and Parsortix® Prototype systems. Each method's advantages and disadvantages are described.

Cell‐free and extracellular vesicle microRNAs with clinical utility for solid tumors

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cell‐free microRNAs (cfmiRs) are small‐RNA circulating molecules detectable in almost all body biofluids. Innovative technologies have improved the application of cfmiRs to oncology, with a focus on clinical needs for different solid tumors, but with emphasis on diagnosis, prognosis, cancer recurrence, as well as treatment monitoring.

Linear system of cubic forms with base locus of 5 points

open access: yesTạp chí Khoa học và Công nghệ
Studying a variety through a linear system of homogenous forms with a base locus is a method that has many advantages not only for understanding important geometric properties but also the ability to accurately evaluate many invariants of the variety ...

Linearization and exponential stability [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
We give sufficient conditions such that the exponential stability of the linearization of a non-linear system implies that the non-linear system is (locally) exponentially stable. One of these conditions is that the non-linear system is Fr\'{e}chet differential at the equilibrium, if it is only Gateaux differentiable, then we show by means of an ...

KRAS and GNAS mutations in cell‐free DNA and in circulating epithelial cells in patients with intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms—an observational pilot study

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that KRAS and GNAS mutations are more prevalent in patients with resected intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMN) compared to those under clinical surveillance. GNAS mutations significantly differ between the two patient cohorts, indicating that their absence may serve as a potential biomarker to support conservative ...

On Stability of the Linearized Spacecraft Attitude Control System [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2015
This note is concerned with the stability and stabilization of the linearized spacecraft attitude control system. Necessary and sufficient conditions are respectively provided to guarantee that the considered systems are polynomially stable and stable in the Lyapunov sense.
