Model of time-varying linear systems and Kolmogorov equations

open access: yesArchives of Control Sciences, 2015
In the paper an approximate model of time-varying linear systems using a sequence of time-invariant systems is suggested. The conditions for validity of the approximation are proven with a theorem.

Waste Municipal Service and Informal Recycling Sector in Fast-Growing Asian Cities: Co-Existence, Opposition or Integration?

open access: yesResources, 2017
Despite being generally poorly recognized by public authorities, informal recycling remains nevertheless a major component in the waste sector, which questions the legitimacy of the official waste arrangements.

A Differential Detection Method Based on a Linear Weak Measurement System

open access: yesSensors, 2019
Self-reference detection is necessary and important to a biosensor. The linear weak measurement system based on total internal reflection has attracted widespread attention due to its high stability, label-free detection, and easy integration.

A note on the damped vibrating systems [PDF]

open access: yesTheoretical and Applied Mechanics, 2006
The presence of pure imaginary eigenvalues of the partially damped vibrating systems is treated. The number of such eigenvalues is determined using the rank of a matrix which is directly related to the system matrices.

Enhancing Stability Criteria for Linear Systems with Interval Time-Varying Delays via an Augmented Lyapunov–Krasovskii Functional

open access: yesMathematics
This work investigates the stability conditions for linear systems with time-varying delays via an augmented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (LKF). Two types of augmented LKFs with cross terms in integrals are suggested to improve the stability conditions

Global Stabilization of Control Systems with Input Saturation and Multiple Input Delays

open access: yesActuators
In this paper, the global stabilization problem of control systems with input saturation and multiple input delays is studied, and a new method is proposed to design nonlinear stabilization control laws.
