Linear Systems

Mathematics in Engineering, 2022
Abstract Abstract linear systems as well as systems of linear equations are introduced. It is shown that the general solution to an inhomogeneous system is given by a special solution to the inhomogeneous system plus the general solution to the associated homogeneous system.

Event-Triggered Finite-Time Control for Networked Switched Linear Systems With Asynchronous Switching

IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, 2018
This paper is concerned with the event-triggered finite-time control problem for networked switched linear systems by using an asynchronous switching scheme.

Coordinated Linear Systems

2014
The concept of a coordinated linear system which contains a coordinator and two or more linear subsystems is defined. Both the case without inputs and the case with inputs are discussed in geometric terms. The class of control laws that conform with the structure of coordinated linear systems is considered: control synthesis then separates into control

Linear Systems

The Analysis of Time Series, 2019
F is variously called a system, a transformation, a transducer, or, a “functional” (hence, the bracket notation), to emphasize that imply that the value of F at a given time t depends not just on the particular current value ( ) s t , but on the values ...

Linear Systems and Linearization

2010
Key to the analysis of nonlinear systems is determining the stability of the equilibria. The classical method of determining stability is to linearize the system about the equilibrium and to determine exponential rates of growth and decay for the associated linear system. The framework for carrying this out is taken up in this chapter.

Lineare zeitinvariante Systeme: IIR-Systeme

2001
