Domain Wall Rebounds Driven by Competing Entropic and Spin‐Transfer Torques in Cylindrical Nanowires
Domain‐wall motion in cylindrical magnetic nanowires driven by nanosecond current pulses. Low current densities efficiently displace domain walls, whereas higher currents cause rebound at the wire ends. The effect results from the interplay between spin‐transfer torque and thermally induced processes, highlighting the role of thermal gradients in ...

Universality in the compressive behavior of solids [PDF]
It was discovered that the isothermal equation of state for solids in compression is a simple, universal form. This single form accurately describes the pressure and bulk modulus as a function of volume for tonic, metallic, covalent, and rare gas ...

An analytical and experimental study of ultrasonic linear motors
Ultrasonic linear motors (ULMs) are widely used in many industrial applications and a full characterization of their behaviour is often needed. This paper presents a detailed analytical-experimental study of ULMs. First, the general structure and operation principle of ULMs are introduced.

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with metals have been recognized as versatile platforms for photocatalytic CO2 reduction (CO2PRR). Herein, an overview of metal integration strategies for COFs is systematically summarized. Regulatory mechanisms and structure–activity relationships between metal integration and COF‐based CO2PRR are emphasized.

Integration of Low‐Voltage Nanoscale MoS2 Memristors on CMOS Microchips
This article presents the first monolithic integration of nanoscale MoS2‐based memristors into the back‐end‐of‐line of foundry‐fabricated CMOS microchips in a one‐transistor‐one‐resistor (1T1R) architecture. The MoS2‐based 1T1R cells exhibit forming‐free, nonvolatile resistive switching with ultra‐low operating voltages, low cycle‐to‐cycle variability ...

Bioprosthetic aortic valves have revolutionized the treatment of aortic stenosis, but their durability is limited by structural valve deterioration (SVD). This review focuses on the pericardial tissue at the heart of these valves, examining how its mechanical properties and calcification drive fatigue and failure.
