Linear viscoelasticity of colloidal suspensions
Physical Review A, 1992We develop a phenomenological theory of the dynamic viscosity of colloidal suspensions, based on an extrapolation of the low-frequency behavior by use of a continued-fraction representation. In lowest approximation the dynamic viscosity depends on a small number of parameters, which may be determined experimentally.

An Impulse Approach to Linear Viscoelasticity
Journal of Rheology, 1984Summary: An impulse approach to linear viscoelastic behavior is developed that enables one to separate elastic from viscous response. The method relates the total stress impulse to the final state of deformation for viscoelastic fluids and to the total strain impulse for viscoelastic solids.
