Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

A 1.2V, low-power, and high linear UWB down-conversion CMOS mixer

open access: yesEngineering and Applied Science Research, 2021
A low voltage, high linearity and gain withlow powerultra-wideband (UWB) CMOS mixer in the RF receiver is proposed. This mixer is designed for a standard of 802.11 for use in Wi-Fi communications.

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Non-Linearity Effect of Energy Consumption on Economic Growth: Panel ASEAN-4 Countries [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
The aim of the study is to investigate the impact of energy consumption on economic growth in ASEAN-4 countries as a whole. In addition, the effect of the non-linearity of the relationship between energy consumption and growth is examined using Threshold

Non-Linear Approximations in Linear Cryptanalysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
By considering the role of non-linear approximatioris in linear cryptanalysis we obtain a generalization of Matsui's linear cryptanalytic techniques. This approach allows Ihe cryptanalyst greater flexibility in mounting a linear cryptanalytic attack and we demonstrate the effectiveness of our non-linear techniques with some simple attacks on LOK191 ...

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Electrical Tunability in 3-Gated Reconfigurable Transistor for Analog/RF Applications

open access: yesIEEE Journal of the Electron Devices Society
The potential of electrical tunability in a 3-gated (3G) Reconfigurable Field Effect Transistor (RFET) for analog/RF applications is investigated through four distinct configurations (R ${}_{\text {2-IG-LVT}}$ , R ${}_{\text {1-IG-Ambi}}$ , R ${}_{\text {

Engineered extracellular vesicles enriched with the miR‐214/199a cluster enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy in ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...
