Linearizability: a correctness condition for concurrent objects

open access: yes, 1990
A concurrent object is a data object shared by concurrent processes. Linearizability is a correctness condition for concurrent objects that exploits the semantics of abstract data types. It permits a high degree of concurrency, yet it permits programmers

On Symplectic Linearizable Actions

open access: yesArnold Mathematical Journal
We prove that linearizable actions are also symplectically linearizable (either smoothly or analytically) in a neighborhood of a fixed point. Specifically, the fundamental vector fields associated with the action can be simultaneously linearized in Darboux coordinates.

Linearizability and State-Machine Replication: Is it a match? [PDF]

open access: yes
Linearizability is a well-known correctness property for concurrent and distributed systems. In the past, it was also used to prove the design and implementation of replicated state-machines correct.

In-network key-value cache with linearizability

open access: yes
Recently, In-Network Cache (INC) systems have been proposed to promote the performance of remote storage systems. INC offloads cache onto programmable switches between the clients and the servers, responding to clients’ data queries within a sub-RTT time.
