A two-stage calibration method for industrial robots with joint and drive flexibilities [PDF]
Dealing with robot calibration the neglection of joint and drive flexibilities limit the achievable positioning accuracy significantly. This problem is addressed in this paper.

Constitutive equations and wave propagation in Green\u2013Naghdi type II and III thermoelectroelasticity [PDF]
In this article we extend the theory of thermoelasticity devised by Green and Naghdi to the framework of finite thermoelectroelasticity. Both isotropic and transversely isotropic bodies are considered and thermodynamic restrictions on their constitutive ...

Within the 3D nonlinear elasticity we discuss the linear instability of a composite bar made of a functially graded material and having initial stresses. The bar consists of two layers which are inflated for a annular wedge of a circular cylinder.

Stability of a composite thick plate with an inhomogeneous field of initial stresses
We discuss the linear stability analysis for a rectangular twolayered elastic plate. Each layer of the plate was obtained due to inflation of an annular wedge of a cylinder. As a result, in the plate there are initial stresses.

Generalized Korn's inequality and conformal Killing vectors
Korn's inequality plays an important role in linear elasticity theory. This inequality bounds the norm of the derivatives of the displacement vector by the norm of the linearized strain tensor.

Asymptotic models for curved rods derived from nonlinear elasticity by Gamma-convergence
We study the problem of the rigorous derivation of one-dimensional models for a thin curved beam starting from three-dimensional nonlinear elasticity. We describe the limiting models obtained for different scalings of the energy.

One-dimensional von K\'arm\'an models for elastic ribbons [PDF]
By means of a variational approach we rigorously deduce three one-dimensional models for elastic ribbons from the theory of von K\'arm\'an plates, passing to the limit as the width of the plate goes to zero.

Traveling waves in one-dimensional nonlinear models of strain-limiting viscoelasticity [PDF]
In this article we investigate traveling wave solutions of a nonlinear differential equation describing the behaviour of one-dimensional viscoelastic medium with implicit constitutive relations.
