ABSTRACT Objectives Nano‐structuring of zirconia dental implants would simplify the production process compared to the currently applied sandblasting and etching. Prior in vitro studies even revealed faster cell spreading and increased viability of osteoblasts on nano‐structured zirconia surfaces.
