Malignant Transformation Rate of Oral Premalignant Disorders: A Large Database Analysis
ABSTRACT Objectives Oral leukoplakia (OL), oral lichen planus (OLP), and oral submucous fibrosis (OSF) are precancerous lesions known to progress to oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). The transformation rates to OSCC are controversial and have been based on small, heterogeneous, single‐institution studies. We present the largest study to date looking

Mechanisms of Improving Feeding Function With Capsaicin Following Local Anesthesia in Infant Pigs
With inferior alveolar nerve anesthetization, we found changes in some behavioral variables, as well as a decrease in bolus sizes and improved airway protection. This highlights the tradeoff between feeding efficiency and feeding safety. With capsaicin administration, some behavioral variables were returned to baseline values fully or partially, which ...

ctDNA to Predict Treatment Response in Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma: A Systematic Review
This systematic review aims to investigate the role of plasma circulating tumor DNA in head and neck cancer surveillance. We conducted a systematic review to comprehensively assess the findings and quality of existing literature on this topic. Our findings show that ctDNA monitoring post‐treatment likely has utility in HNSCC surveillance.
