FDG‐PET Associations With Disease Severity and Outcomes in NMDA‐Receptor IgG Autoimmune Encephalitis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Patients with N‐methyl‐D‐aspartate (NMDA) receptor‐immunoglobulin G (IgG) autoimmune encephalitis (NMDAR‐IgG AE) demonstrate occipital lobe hypometabolism on baseline brain fluorodeoxyglucose‐positron emission tomography (bFDG‐PET).

AUTOMATED SYSTEM OF FUZZY IDENTIFICATION OF EXPERT’S COMPETENCE FOR ASSESSING THE QUALITY OF PEDAGOGICAL PHENOMENA AND PROCESSES

open access: yesІнформаційні технології і засоби навчання, 2018
The article describes the problem of the application of the theory of fuzzy sets to describe the indicators of expert assessment by using linguistic variables instead of numerals or in addition to them.

LEAD: Literature Enhanced Ab Initio Discovery of Nitride Dusting Layers for Enhanced Tunnel Magnetoresistance and Lower Resistance Magnetic Tunnel Junctions

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) using MgO tunnel barriers face challenges of high resistance‐area product and low tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR). To discover alternative materials, Literature Enhanced Ab initio Discovery (LEAD) is developed. The LEAD‐predicted materials are theoretically evaluated, showing that MTJs with dusting of ScN or TiN on ...

Vagueness of Linguistic variable

open access: yes, 2010
In the area of computer science focusing on creating machines that can engage on behaviors that humans consider intelligent. The ability to create intelligent machines has intrigued humans since ancient times and today with the advent of the computer and 50 years of research into various programming techniques, the dream of smart machines is becoming a

Suppressing Metal–Molecule Charge Transfer With a Phosphorus Interlayer

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Phosphorus forms stable reconstructions with remarkable properties on various metal substrates. Here, using a spectroscopic approach, its role as an effective buffer layer on Cu(110) is demonstrated, preventing charge transfer to adsorbed Zn‐tetraphenylporphyrins (ZnTPP).

A Multidirectional Textile Interface for Remote Control Using Dynamic Area‐Based Capacitance Modulation

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Here, we present a textile, wearable capacitive interface enabling multidirectional remote control by dynamically modulating electrode overlap and spacing via a freely gliding upper electrode. A forearm‐mounted prototype drives robotic and media tasks with 12–15 ms latency, maintains < 0.8% drift after 500 cycles, and remains stably functional at 90 ...

L’exercice délibératif dans le contexte de rapports linguistiques complexes : le cas du Nouveau-Brunswick

open access: yesRevue Gouvernance, 2017
Dans la littérature sur les instruments d’action publique (IAP), il n’y a que très peu de prise en considération des variables contextuelles et de leurs effets sur la conception des instruments, de même que sur le processus de formulation des politiques ...

Modern and Ancient Genomes Reveal Neolithic Paternal Expansions of Millet and Rice Farmers and Demic Diffusion from China into Mainland Southeast Asia

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study clarifies the genetic patterns of paternal lineages across East Asia and Mainland Southeast Asia. Han populations are relatively homogeneous, whereas southern ethnolinguistic minorities display regional structures. Shared Y‐chromosome lineages indicate Neolithic expansions and extensive north‐south gene flow, supporting demic diffusion ...
