MiR‐940 Suppresses Ferroptosis by Controlling Expression of Key Regulatory Genes
A CRISPR‐based screening identified miR‐940 as a critical suppressor of ferroptosis in cancer. By coordinating the downregulation of pro‐ferroptotic genes with the upregulation of GPX4, miR‐940 establishes a regulatory network that protects against ferroptosis and correlates with poor clinical outcomes in distinct cancer entities.

The modularty of agreement variation
In this article, following Ormazabal & Romero (2022) insights, a modular approach to agreement variation is proposed where syntactic relations are uniform, dialectal variation is determined in morphology, and extragrammatical modules deal with ...

This study reveals a metabolic signaling axis in the OSCC microenvironment where palmitic acid (PA) drives the activation of CAFs. PA uptake triggers CEBPG‐dependent epigenetic remodeling to upregulate ERN1 and TMBIM6, thereby mitigating ER stress. This adaptive program sustains CAF survival and the pro‐metastatic phenotype, establishing this pathway ...

Linguistic variation and computation [PDF]
Language variationists, study how languages vary along geographical or social lines or along lines of age and gender. Variationist data is available and challenging, in particular for DIALECTOLOGY, the study of geographical variation, which will be the focus of this paper, although we present approaches we expect to transfer smoothly to the study of ...

Ion‐Gating Reservoir Computing for Preprocessing‐Free Speech Recognition from Throat Vibrations
This work presents a throat‐mounted mechanoelectric sensor integrated with an ion‐gel/graphene reservoir device for on‐device speech recognition. The system converts raw biomechanical vibrations into rich nonlinear current dynamics, enabling efficient classification through a simple linear readout. The approach highlights a compact and tunable physical‐
