Efficient Flooding Methods for Link-state Routing Protocols [PDF]

open access: bronzeThe Journal of Korea Information and Communications Society, 2012
In this paper, we propose an efficient flooding process on link-state routing protocol. It is possible to exchange information using typical link-state routing protocol; for example, OSPF(Open Short Path First) or IS-IS(Intermediate system routing protocol) that floods LSA between nodes when the network topology change occurs.

LSGO: Link State aware Geographic Opportunistic routing protocol for VANETs [PDF]

open access: goldEURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking, 2014
Abstract Robust and efficient data delivery in vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) with high mobility is a challenging issue due to dynamic topology changes and unstable wireless links. The opportunistic routing protocols can improve the reliability of routing by making full use of the broadcast characteristics and assist in data transmission ...

SECURITY ISSUES IN THE OPTIMIZED LINK STATE ROUTING PROTOCOL VERSION 2 (OLSRV2)

open access: bronzeInternational journal of Network Security & Its Applications, 2010
Mobile Ad hoc NETworks (MANETs) are leaving the confines of research laboratories, to find place in real-world deployments. Outside specialized domains (military, vehicular, etc.), city-wide communitynetworks are emerging, connecting regular Internet users with each other, and with the Internet, via MANETs.

Load-balanced Geographic Routing Protocol in Aerial Sensor Network [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji kexue, 2022
The unbalanced burden on the nodes nearing the ground station pose challenges on the multi-hop data transmission in aerial sensor networks(ASNs).In order to achieve reliable and efficient multi-hop data transmission in ASNs,a reinforcement-learning based

An Efficient Routing Protocol for Quantum Key Distribution Networks

open access: yesEntropy, 2022
Quantum key distribution (QKD) can provide point-to-point information-theoretic secure key services for two connected users. In fact, the development of QKD networks needs more focus from the scientific community in order to broaden the service scale of ...

Study of Proactive Routing Protocol in Wildfire Detection Using Mobile Sensor Networks

open access: yesJournal of Applied Science and Engineering, 2021
Mobile sensor networks include different routing protocols. The performance of these routing protocols differs in terms of transmitting and receiving the packets, where it depends on the architecture of each routing protocol.
