System power budget analysis of microwave radio links in Adana region

Link budgets for backscatter radio and RFID systems using power-optimized waveforms
2013 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium (APSURSI), 2013This paper presents forward and backscatter link budgets for systems that utilize power-optimized waveforms (POWs) for passive backscatter radio communication. It has been shown how POWs increase the forward link limit while reducing the backscatter link limit of these systems when compared to continuous wave (CW) excitation.

It is enabled by using continuous-phase frequency-shift keying/amplitude-shift keying format, DC-balanced line coding, and avalanche photo-detector.
