Geophysical Research Letters, 2009 The location and timing of metamorphic reactions in subducting lithosphere are influenced by thermal effects of fluid circulation in the ocean crust aquifer. Fluid circulation in subducting crust extracts heat from the Nankai subduction zone, causing the crust to pass through cooler metamorphic facies than if no fluid circulation occurs.

Contact Lens with Moiré Patterns for High‐Precision Eye Tracking
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.This work presents a passive contact lens for high‐precision eye tracking, integrating a microscopic moiré grating label. The parallax‐induced shift of macroscopic moiré patterns enables angle measurement with 0.28° precision using a standard camera under ambient light.
