Joint Linkage and Linkage Disequilibrium Mapping in Natural Populations [PDF]
AbstractA new strategy for studying the genome structure and organization of natural populations is proposed on the basis of a combined analysis of linkage and linkage disequilibrium using known polymorphic markers. This strategy exploits a random sample drawn from a panmictic natural population and the open-pollinated progeny of the sample.

ABSTRACT Introduction Anthracycline‐related cardiac remodeling precedes heart failure in childhood cancer survivors. The objectives of this study were to determine the relationships between patient‐specific factors, moderate‐to‐vigorous physical activity (MVPA), and cardiac remodeling.

ABSTRACT Background Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) is one of the most treatable forms of paediatric cancer; however, there is a substantial burden of treatment‐related toxicities (TRTs). In addition, the long‐term changes in children's health‐related quality of life (HRQoL) due to toxic treatments are not well understood.

Immunoglobulin Depletion and Recovery Following Blinatumomab in Infants With KMT2A‐Rearranged ALL
ABSTRACT Adding blinatumomab to standard chemotherapy for infants with KMT2A‐rearranged acute B‐cell lymphoblastic leukemia (KMT2A‐r B‐ALL) improves outcomes. Although blinatumomab impairs immunoglobulin G (lgG) production, increasing infection susceptibility, IgG recovery remains poorly understood.

ABSTRACT Neuroblastoma's complex, heterogeneous biology poses significant diagnostic and therapeutic challenges, often requiring caregivers to absorb complex information and participate in time‐sensitive decisions. However, caregivers often feel unprepared to evaluate options.

ABSTRACT Background Germ cell tumors (GCTs) often arise in the ovaries and testes (extracranial) but can also develop in the brain (intracranial). We examined the relationship of individual, family, and community‐level socioeconomic status (SES) with stage of disease at diagnosis in a cohort of pediatric patients with GCT from Children's Oncology Group
