The Zero-Removing Property and Lagrange-Type Interpolation Series

open access: yes, 2011
The classical Kramer sampling theorem, which provides a method for obtaining orthogonal sampling formulas, can be formulated in a more general nonorthogonal setting.

Advancing Heliophysics and Space Weather Modeling Through Open Science

open access: yesSpace Weather, Volume 24, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract We present a community‐wide effort to develop a strategy and action plan to advance heliophysics and space weather modeling through open science. While open science has the potential to enhance the quality and pace of scientific discovery, its application to scientific modeling requires more careful consideration regarding open data and open ...

A Liouville-type theorem for the homogeneous wave equation

open access: yesLe Matematiche, 2002
In this paper, we characterize those bounded from below solutions of a homogeneous wave equation on R^2 which are constant.

Rigidity of balls in the solid mean value property for polyharmonic functions

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 58, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract We show that balls are the only open bounded domains for which the mean value formula for polyharmonic functions holds. We do so by adapting an argument of Ü. Kuran for harmonic functions. We also, provide a quantitative version of the same result.

Liouville type theorems for anisotropic degenerate elliptic equations on strips

open access: yes, 2023
We establish ($L^\infty$) Liouville type theorems for anisotropic degenerate elliptic equations in divergence form on the strip $S=\R^{N-1}\times (-1,1)$ where $x=(x',\lambda)$. The model equation is $div_{x'} (w_1 \nabla_{x'}\sigma)+\partial_\lambda (

Stable factorization of the Calderón problem via the Born approximation

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 113, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract In this article, we prove the existence of the Born approximation in the context of the radial Calderón problem for Schrödinger operators. The Born approximation naturally appears as the linear component of a factorization of the Calderón problem; we show that the nonlinear part, obtaining the potential from the Born approximation, enjoys ...

A Liouville theorem for conformal Gaussian curvature type equations in $${{\mathbb{R}}^2}$$

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper, we obtain a Liouville type theorem for a class of elliptic equations including the conformal Gaussian curvature equation... We notice that all these previous studies require that K(x) has a fixed sign near infinity or K(x) decays to 0 at ...

Existence of solutions for a mixed fractional boundary value problem

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2017
In this paper, we prove the existence of solutions for a boundary value problem involving both left Riemann-Liouville and right Caputo-type fractional derivatives.

Nontrivial Solutions of the Kirchhoff-Type Fractional p-Laplacian Dirichlet Problem

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2020
In this article, we consider the new results for the Kirchhoff-type p-Laplacian Dirichlet problem containing the Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative operators.
