[The value of radiotherapy in the treatment of lip neoplasms].
About 80% of carcinomatous lesions of the lip are smaller than 2 cm in diameter, have little tendency to infiltrate, grow in the lower lip, are histologically well differentiated and do not have, or develop later, regional metastases. Of these carcinomas 95% are cured by the various methods of radiotherapy.

Excision of a Malignant Neoplasm from a Lower Lip and Reconstruction by a Step Technique of Flaps
The Journal of Dermatologic Surgery and Oncology, 1981A step technique of flaps is described, illustrated, and recommended for full‐thickness defects of up to two‐thirds of the lower lip. The mobility of the lip, the sphincter function of its musculature, and cosmetic result of the reconstituted lips were found to be excellent from such a procedure.
