The Lipari-Szabo Model-Free Analysis as a Method for Study of Molecular Motion in Solid State Heteronuclear Systems Using NMR Off-Resonance

open access: yesApplied Magnetic Resonance, 2016
In the present work, a new method for measuring motional parameters using the off-resonance technique was described. The Lipari-Szabo model-free formalism was used to analyze molecular dynamics in a heteronuclear system [1, 2].

Incorporating Spatial and Spectral Saturation Modules Into MR Fingerprinting

open access: yesNMR in Biomedicine, Volume 38, Issue 3, March 2025.
A radial MR Fingerprinting sequence is modified to include fat and spatial saturation options. We demonstrate in phantoms and in volunteers the reduction of flow‐related streak‐like artefacts while T1 accuracy is well preserved and T2 measurements remain acceptable up to approximately 100 ms.

Hadronic interactions and cosmic rays at ultra high energies

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2013
Observations of ultra high energy cosmic rays allow in principle to obtain information about the properties of hadronic interactions in an energy range not accessible with particle accelerators.

Refining the Eruption Chronology of Atitlán Caldera Through Zircon Double‐Dating

open access: yesGeochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems, Volume 26, Issue 3, March 2025.
Abstract Precise dating of Quaternary volcanism is vital for risk mitigation, understanding volcano‐climate interactions, and deciphering the evolution of large silicic magmatic systems. The Atitlán caldera in Guatemala has experienced major eruptions that challenge radiometric dating techniques and complicate eruption chronology in this densely ...

This Is How We Do It: How Social Norms and Social Identity Shape Decision Making under Uncertainty

open access: yesGames, 2018
The current study aims to investigate how the presence of social norms defines belief formation on future changes in social identity (i.e., diachronic identity), and how those beliefs affect individual decisions under uncertainty.
