Retroperitoneal Liposarcoma

Australian and New Zealand Journal of Surgery, 1976
The diagnosis of retroperitoneal fatty tumour is not extremely difficult provided that the possibility of its presence is kept in mind by the surgeon in all cases of distended abdomen in an apparently well‐nourished patient. A careful clinical examination and a good excretory Myelogram arc very important in the diagnosis.

Multicentric liposarcoma

Laryngeal Liposarcoma

Archives of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, 1994
Laryngeal liposarcomas are rare, with only 13 previously well-documented cases (to our knowledge). We report an additional case, which documents the use of computed tomography for treatment planning. Laryngeal liposarcomas appear to have a better prognosis than nonlaryngeal liposarcomas; therefore, a critical analysis of reported cases enabled us to ...

Radiotherapy of liposarcomas

The British Journal of Radiology, 1980

The recovery coefficient alpha is thought to be rather high, of

Liposarcoma of the stomach

Abdominal Imaging, 1997
We present a case of gastric liposarcoma, a very uncommon pathology; only nine cases have been reported in the literature. We describe the radiologic findings of this neoplasm and emphasize the correlation between computed tomography (CT) and the macroscopic morphology of the tumor, which is conditioned by its histology.

Dedifferentiated Liposarcoma

Pathology Case Reviews, 1998
Dedifferentiated liposarcoma is a high-grade nonlipogenic sarcoma that arises in a background of a preexisting well-differentiated liposarcoma. The phenomenon of dedifferentiation is time dependent, and primary or de novo tumors exceed secondary neoplasms in a ratio of 9:1.
