BSDEs with stochastic Lipschitz condition and quadratic PDEs in Hilbert spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
This paper is devoted to real valued backward stochastic differential equations (BSDEs for short) with generators which satisfy a stochastic Lipschitz condition involving BMO martingales. This framework arises naturally when looking at the BSDE satisfied

On Lipschitz ball noncollapsing functions and uniform co-Lipschitz mappings of the plane

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2005
We give a sharp estimate on the cardinality of point preimages of a uniform co-Lipschitz mapping on the plane. We also give a necessary and sufficient condition for a ball noncollapsing Lipschitz function to have a point with infinite preimage.

Uniqueness theorem of differential system with coupled integral boundary conditions

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2018
The paper is devoted to study the uniqueness of solutions for a differential system with coupled integral boundary conditions under a Lipschitz condition. Our approach is based on the Banach's contraction principle.

Existence and Continuous Dependence for Fractional Partial Hyperbolic Differential Equations

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2015
This paper is concerned with a class of fractional hyperbolic partial differential equations with the Caputo derivative. Existence and continuous dependence results of solutions are obtained under the hypothesis of the Lipschitz condition without any ...

Local robust stability on compact set for nonlinear systems with continuous time controller against to aperiodic sampling and disturbance

open access: yesIET Control Theory & Applications, 2023
In this study, the stability of a sampled‐value control system with time‐ and state‐dependent disturbance and aperiodic sampling is investigated. To expand the application class of the sampled‐value controller, the local stability on a compact set is ...

Convergence of the compensated split-step θ-method for nonlinear jump-diffusion systems

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2017
In this paper, our aim is to develop a compensated split-step θ (CSSθ) method for nonlinear jump-diffusion systems. First, we prove the convergence of the proposed method under a one-sided Lipschitz condition on the drift coefficient, and global ...

On the Local Convergence of Two-Step Newton Type Method in Banach Spaces under Generalized Lipschitz Conditions

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
The motive of this paper is to discuss the local convergence of a two-step Newton-type method of convergence rate three for solving nonlinear equations in Banach spaces.

The Problem Of Lipschitz Condition

open access: yes, 1993
In our paper we prove that the Smarandache function S does not verify the Lipschitz condition, giving an answer to a problem proposed in 2 and we investigate also tbe possibility that some other function, which involve the function S, verify or nor verify the Lipschitz condition.

Graph‐Theory Approach to Element Miscibility and Alloy Design

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Graph and network theory enables pathway toward complex multiscale interactions between different elements for alloy design or interface engineering. Utilizing element's inherent properties and preferential interactivity, favorable mixed material formation, solubility and miscibility can be predicted.
