Smoothed Projections over Weakly Lipschitz Domains [PDF]

open access: greenMathematics of Computation, 2016
We develop finite element exterior calculus over weakly Lipschitz domains. Specifically, we construct commuting projections from $L^p$ de~Rham complexes over weakly Lipschitz domains onto finite element de~Rham complexes. These projections satisfy uniform bounds for finite element spaces with bounded polynomial degree over shape-regular families of ...

The Mixed Problem for the Laplacian in Lipschitz Domains [PDF]

open access: greenPotential Analysis, 2012
Version 5 includes a correction to one step of the main proof. Since the paper appeared long ago, this submission includes the complete paper, followed by a short section that gives the correction to one step in the ...

Analysis of boundary-domain integral equations based on a new parametrix for the mixed diffusion BVP with variable coefficient in an interior Lipschitz domain [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Integral Equations and Applications, 2018
A mixed boundary value problem for the partial differential equation of diffusion in an inhomogeneous medium in a Lipschitz domain is reduced to a system of direct segregated parametrix-based Boundary-Domain Integral Equations (BDIEs).

Div-curl type theorems on Lipschitz domains [PDF]

open access: diamondBulletin of the Australian Mathematical Society, 2005
For Lipschitz domains of ℝn we prove div-curl type theorems, which are extensions to domains of the Div-Curl Theorem on ℝn by Coifman, Lions, Meyer and Semmes. Applying the div-curl type theorems we give decompositions of Hardy spaces on domains.

Nematic Liquid Crystals in Lipschitz Domains [PDF]

open access: yesSIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis, 2018
We consider the simplified Ericksen-Leslie model in three dimensional bounded Lipschitz domains. Applying a semilinear approach, we prove local and global well-posedness (assuming a smallness condition on the initial data) in critical spaces for initial data in $L^3_σ$ for the fluid and $W^{1,3}$ for the director field.

Lipschitz Domains, Domains with Corners, and the Hodge Laplacian [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Partial Differential Equations, 2005
We define self-adjoint extensions of the Hodge Laplacian on Lipschitz domains in Riemannian manifolds, corresponding to either the absolute or the relative boundary condition, and examine regularity properties of these operators’ domains and form domains. We obtain results valid for general Lipschitz domains, and stronger results for a special class of

Lipschitz stability for determination of states and inverse source problem for the mean field game equations [PDF]

open access: yesInverse Problems and Imaging, 2023
In a bounded domain $\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^d$ over time interval $(0,T)$, we consider mean field game equations whose principal coefficients depend on the time and state variables with a general Hamiltonian.

Classical solutions of mixed problems for quasilinear first order PFDEs on a cylindrical domain [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2014
We abandon the setting of the domain as a Cartesian product of real intervals, customary for first order PFDEs (partial functional differential equations) with initial boundary conditions. We give a new set of conditions on the possibly unbounded domain \
