Subsolutions of Elliptic Operators in Divergence Form and Application to Two-Phase Free Boundary Problems

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2006
Let L be a divergence form operator with Lipschitz continuous coefficients in a domain Ω, and let u be a continuous weak solution of Lu=0 in {u≠0}.

Homogeneous Subsets of a Lipschitz Graph and the Corona Theorem [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
For a domain bounded by homogeneous subsets of a Lipschitz graph, we show the Corona Theorem is affirmative.Comment: 5 ...

Robust and provably monotonic networks

open access: yesMachine Learning: Science and Technology, 2023
The Lipschitz constant of the map between the input and output space represented by a neural network is a natural metric for assessing the robustness of the model.

GENERALIZED FUNCTIONS OF BOUNDARY

open access: yesPesquimat, 2014
In this paper we prove that in general, the restriction of a function space of Sobolev H1(Ω) the boundary of the domain Ω belongs to L2(∂Ω); for the case of boundary regularly provided to be continuous and Lipschitz.

Sparsest Univariate Learning Models Under Lipschitz Constraint

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Signal Processing, 2022
Beside the minimizationof the prediction error, two of the most desirable properties of a regression scheme are stability and interpretability. Driven by these principles, we propose continuous-domain formulations for one-dimensional regression problems.

Uniqueness in Calderon's problem with Lipschitz conductivities

open access: yes, 2012
We use X^{s,b}-inspired spaces to prove a uniqueness result for Calderon's problem in a Lipschitz domain under the assumption that the conductivity is Lipschitz.

Graphs with prescribed the trace of the Levi form [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We prove existence and uniqueness of a viscosity solution of the Dirichlet problem related to the prescribed Levi mean curvature equation, under suitable assumptions on the boundary data and on the Levi curvature of the domain.

A State‐Adaptive Koopman Control Framework for Real‐Time Deformable Tool Manipulation in Robotic Environmental Swabbing

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents a state‐adaptive Koopman linear quadratic regulator framework for real‐time manipulation of a deformable swab tool in robotic environmental sampling. By combining Koopman linearization, tactile sensing, and centroid‐based force regulation, the system maintains stable contact forces and high coverage across flat and inclined surfaces.
