Liquefaction risk analysis for artificially solidified ground
This paper presents a risk-based procedure for the liquefaction assessment of artificially solidified ground. In this paper, the liquefaction potential of artificially solidified ground is analyzed statistically using Monte Carlo Simulation of the nonlinear earthquake response analysis considering the spatial variability of soil properties. Abstract Gastric abscess is a rare condition caused by gastric barrier damage. It is easily misdiagnosed in clinical practice as a cancer recurrence or submucosal tumor, especially after surgery or endoscopic submucosal dissection. With a relatively high mortality rate, the cause and clinical characteristics of gastric abscesses are obscure.

ABSTRACT A woman in her 90s with dementia accidentally ingested an unknown amount of calcium chloride–containing desiccant (pH 7–8). Computed tomography (CT) revealed circumferential gastric wall thickening, and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy revealed ulcers with necrotic material extending from the cardia to the greater curvature of the pyloric ...

Endoscopic Step‐up Approach for Walled‐off Necrosis After Acute Pancreatitis
ABSTRACT This review outlines current interventional strategies for treating symptomatic walled‐off necrosis (WON) after necrotizing pancreatitis. Mortality from acute pancreatitis has improved, but late mortality, particularly from infected necrosis, remains a challenge. WON requires invasive treatment in cases of infection or symptoms.

ABSTRACT Objectives Pancreatic fluid collections (PFCs) are able to develop secondary to either fluid leakage or liquefaction of acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic trauma, or after pancreatic surgery. While most PFCs resolve spontaneously, endoscopic procedures are sometimes necessary.
