THE DEVELOPMENT OF A BASIC PROCESS SCHEME FOR THE PREPARATION OF ISOAMYL ACETATE

open access: yesТонкие химические технологии, 2018
The article reports the development of a technological scheme for isoamyl acetate preparation on the basis of kinetic data, vapor-liquid and liquid-liquid equilibrium data. A review of isoamyl acetate production methods was made.

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

The Hydro-Kinetic Theory of Liquid Helium II [PDF]

open access: yes, 1970
In Part I the kinetic theory of excitations in flowing liquid He II is developed to a higher order than that carried out previously, by Landau and Khalatnikov, in order to demonstrate the existence of non-equilibrium terms of a new nature in the ...

Modelling of phase equilibrium in chloroform – ethanol – ionic liguid system

open access: yesТонкие химические технологии, 2014
The mathematical model for system, containing ethanol, chloroform and 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazoliumtrifluorosulphonate is obtained. NRTL binary parametres are evaluated and vapor-liquid equilibrium is calculated.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Comparison of predicted and experimental DSC curves for vegetable oils [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We compare experimental and predicted differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) curves for palm oil(PO), peanut oil (PeO) and grapeseed oil (GO). The predicted curves are computed from the solid–liquid equilibrium modelling and direct minimization of the ...

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

Voltage induced spreading and liquid optical devices

open access: yes, 2013
An experimental investigation has been carried out into Liquid dielectrophoresis (LDEP), in which dielectric forces are used to actuate bulk liquid spreading and to imprint a deformation pattern at a liquid air surface.

LIQUID-LIQUID EQUILIBRIUM AND KINETICS OF ETHANOLIC EXTRACTION OF SOYBEAN OIL USING ETHYL ACETATE AS CO-SOLVENT

open access: yes, 2018
This work reports a new set of experimental data for the liquid-liquid equilibrium (LLE) of the system (soybean oil + ethyl acetate + anhydrous ethanol) and the kinetics of crude oil extraction from soybean flakes using anhydrous ethanol + ethyl acetate ...
