The Architecture of MEG Simulation and Analysis Software

open access: yes, 2011
MEG (Mu to Electron Gamma) is an experiment dedicated to search for the $\mu^+ \rightarrow e^+\gamma$ decay that is strongly suppressed in the Standard Model but predicted in several Super Symmetric extensions of it at an accessible rate.

Spatially Resolved Monitoring of Drying of Hierarchical Porous Organic Networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Evaporation kinetics of water confined in hierarchal polymeric porous media is studied by low field nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). Systems synthesized with various degrees of cross-linker density render networks with similar pore sizes but different ...

MnI‐Functionalized Covalent Organic Framework as Efficient Electrocatalyst for CO2 Reduction in a Catholyte‐Free Zero‐Gap Electrolyzer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates the successful integration of a phenanthroline‐based 2D COF with MnI catalytic sites into a catholyte‐free membrane‐electrode‐assembly cell for CO2 electroreduction. The crystalline COF actively suppresses Mn⁰–Mn⁰ dimerization, achieving a turnover frequency of 617 h⁻¹ at 2.8 V (full‐cell potential), and enabling stable operation.

Light‐Controlled Reversible Coassembly of Hybrid Functional Nanostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Light‐responsive hybrid nanostructures are formed by coassembling azobenzene‐ and PAH‐functionalized nanoparticles through reversible an tunable π interactions. The system enables tunable coupling between distinct components such as gold and magnetite or carbon nanotubes, producing switchable optical and magnetic properties under light and magnetic ...

The NA62 Liquid Krypton calorimeter readout architecture

open access: yesJournal of Instrumentation, 2016
The NA62 experiment [1] at the CERN SPS (Super Proton Synchrotron) accelerator studies the ultra-rare decays of charged kaons. The high-resolution Liquid Krypton (LKr) electromagnetic calorimeter of the former NA48 experiment [2] is a key component of the experiment photon-veto system.
