This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

Influence of Mold Design on Shrinkage Porosity of Ti-6Al-4V Alloy Ingots
Mold design is one of the important ways to control shrinkage porosity. In this study, four mold forms with different tapers were first designed, the corresponding three-dimensional finite element models were built using the ProCAST software, and the ...

Pilot-booster control valve [PDF]
Two-stage, pressure-sensing control valve is designed for servocontrol of 10-inch main tank valve regulating pressure of liquid oxygen in tank and serving to vent tank during filling. Valve uses a negative-rate Belleville spring to cancel positive spring

Electronic properties of graphene multilayers
We study the effects of disorder in the electronic properties of graphene multilayers, with special focus on the bilayer and the infinite stack. At low energies and long wavelengths, the electronic self-energies and density of states exhibit behavior ...

Spontaneous imbibition in a slit pore: a lattice-gas dynamic mean field study [PDF]
We present a theoretical study of spontaneous imbibition in a slit pore using a lattice-gas model and a dynamic mean-field theory. Emphasis is put on the influence of the precursor films on the speed of the imbibition front due to liquid mass ...

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...
