Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Qutelet-Type Interference from Liquid Crystal Polymer Dispersion Films
[[abstract]]The Qu telet-type ring pattern is observed in liquid crystal polymer dispersion (LCPD) films. The clusters of the polymer network and LC domains with different director axes in the LCPD films serve as scatterers.

Electrically tunable, optically induced dynamic and permanent gratings in dye-doped liquid crystals [PDF]
We report on further experimental studies of the ac field response of transient and permanent gratings written with visible light in both planar and homeotropic, dye-doped liquid crystal cells.

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

Voltage induced spreading and liquid optical devices
An experimental investigation has been carried out into Liquid dielectrophoresis (LDEP), in which dielectric forces are used to actuate bulk liquid spreading and to imprint a deformation pattern at a liquid air surface.

Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...

DNA strands are employed both as dynamic linkers and nanoscale templates for the integration of Ag2S nanoparticles on MoS2, which in turn imparted photothermal responsiveness; this feature permits the selective cargo (fluorophore, quantum dots or an enzyme) release from the MoS2 surface in response to local heat induced by light irradiation.

Oilfield Polymer-Bearing Waste Liquid Treatment and Reuse Technology
In recent years, although research has been conducted on the recovery and reuse of polymer-bearing waste liquid generated from well flushing, operation and instation pipeline washing of polymer flooding reservoirs, there is a lack of effective treatment ...

Counterion Dependent Side‐Chain Relaxation Stiffens a Chemically Doped Thienothiophene Copolymer
Oxidation of a thienothiophene copolymer, p(g3TT‐T2), via different doping strategies and dopant molecules resulted in materials with similar oxidation levels and a high electrical conductivity of ≈100 S cm−1. However, mechanical properties varied significantly, with sub‐glass transition temperatures and elastic moduli spanning from –44°C to –3°C and ...
