Using in situ X‐ray tomography, the phase transformation and microstructural evolution of a copper sulfide cathode in solid‐state batteries is 3D visualized and characterized. Copper inclusions generate after phase transformation and the electrode cracks have a strong preferential orientation within the x‐y plane of the cell.

Prospects of charge signal analyses in liquid xenon TPCs with proportional scintillation in the liquid phase [PDF]
As liquid xenon TPCs increase in target mass while pursuing the direct detection of WIMP dark matter, the technical challenges arising due to their size call for new solutions and open the discussion on alternative detector concepts. Proportional scintillation in liquid xenon allows for a single-phase design evading all problems related to the liquid ...

Development of direct CO2 absorption system for radiocarbon dating and bio-based carbon determination in biogenic-synthetic products [PDF]
This work presents a development of a new radiocarbon dating system based on CO2 and liquid scintillation counting. The system is flexible enough to be applied in different fields such as radiocarbon dating (up to about 32 000 years span ...

Based on a simplified version of the morphinan scaffold, 3‐[3‐(phenalkylamino)cyclohexyl]phenol analogues were designed, synthesized and evaluated for their µ‐opioid receptor (MOR) antagonist activity in vitro and in silico. Docking studies indicate a peculiar combination of C‐1 stereochemistry and N‐substitutions as feasibly essential for MOR‐ligand ...

ZEL‐H16 (1) has been disclosed to be a high‐affinity non‐imidazole H3R (partial) agonist. However, it was found that 1 acts as an inverse agonist for Gαi in various assays. Concise structure–activity relationship studies, molecular pharmacology, and docking were used to shed more light on the properties of 1.

Needs, trends, and advances in scintillators for radiographic imaging and tomography [PDF]
Scintillators are important materials for radiographic imaging and tomography (RadIT), when ionizing radiations are used to reveal internal structures of materials. Since its invention by R\"ontgen, RadIT now come in many modalities such as absorption-based X-ray radiography, phase contrast X-ray imaging, coherent X-ray diffractive imaging, high-energy

Development of the First Tritiated Tetrazine: Facilitating Tritiation of Proteins
A tritiated tetrazine based on a phenyl/pyridyl core structure was successfully radiolabeled with NaBT4 by reducing an aldehyde moiety. The synthon was effectively employed to label an antibody in vitro with pretargeted autoradiography. Abstract Tetrazine (Tz)–trans‐cyclooctene (TCO) ligation is an ultra‐fast and highly selective reaction and it is ...
