Polybutadiene Modification of Brown Grease‐Sulfur Materials
Composites from brown grease and elemental sulfur, reinforced with polybutadiene. ABSTRACT High sulfur‐content materials (HSMs) prepared via inverse vulcanization are attractive for a range of sustainable material applications, particularly when synthesized from waste‐derived feedstocks such as brown grease (BG).

Azole antifungal contaminants disrupt mycorrhizal function and risk agricultural sustainability
Global food production is increasingly threatened by soil degradation, climate change and the rising costs of synthetic fertilisers. Circular agriculture, which promotes resource reuse, is a promising solution, but using treated wastewater and biosolids in farming introduces risks from emerging contaminants like pharmaceutical residues.

High‐density SnS/t‐G composites enable sodium‐ion anodes with high gravimetric and volumetric capacities. A small amount of thermally activated graphite (5 wt.%) significantly enhances performance. The reaction is investigated using various methods, including operando XRD and operando dilatometry, ether‐based electrolytes facilitate reversible alloying

Liquid Scintillators; Technology and Challenges
This is a brief review of liquid scintillators, an important technology for detection of ionizing radiation. We will first review the basic mechanisms of light production in most organic liquid scintillators. For most practical detector applications, the scintillators need to be optimized for choices of photosensors and compatibility with optical ...

Advanced Characterization of Soft Cosmetic Film Deposits with X‐Ray Microtomography
A novel artificial skin model integrates X‐ray computed microtomography for non‐destructive analysis of soft cosmetic films. This high‐resolution imaging reveals how microscale changes in cosmetics impact macroscale behaviors, such as the deposited film roughness and induced mechanical deformation of the skin.
