3D Printed Ultra‐Fast Plastic Scintillators Based on Perovskite‐Photocurable Polymer Composite
The demand for radiation detection is increasing in a number of fields, including high‐energy physics, medical imaging, and homeland security. This study serves to demonstrate the potential for the fabrication of fast perovskite‐based scintillators with complex shapes via stereolithographic additive manufacturing, representing a new path toward the ...

Liquid scintillator tiles for calorimetry [PDF]
Future experiments in high energy and nuclear physics may require large, inexpensive calorimeters that can continue to operate after receiving doses of 50 Mrad or more. The light output of liquid scintillators suffers little degradation under irradiation.

The Spectrum of Light Emitted by LED Using a CMOS Sensor-Based Digital Camera and Its Application
We introduced a digital photo image analysis in color space to estimate the spectrum of fluor components dissolved in a liquid scintillator sample through the hue and wavelength relationship.

Fast Neutron Detector Based on Hybrid 2D Perovskite Thin Films
This work presents the direct detection of fast neutrons using flexible hybrid 2D perovskite (PEA2PbBr4) thin‐film detectors. Thanks to their high low‐Z elements content and good charge transport, these materials enable efficient neutron detection. The thin film configuration allowed the operation at low voltage, and offer scalability, flexibility, and

Internally catalyzed siloxane dynamic chemistry is demonstrated resulting from amides covalently linked through alkyl chains to siloxanes. The alkyl length in the siloxane‐containing monomer tunes the network cross‐link density. Siloxane exchange dynamics are faster with increasing cross‐link density, because associative exchange is second order in ...

Rayleigh scattering of linear alkylbenzene in large liquid scintillator detectors. [PDF]
Rayleigh scattering poses an intrinsic limit for the transparency of organic liquid scintillators. This work focuses on the Rayleigh scattering length of linear alkylbenzene (LAB), which will be used as the solvent of the liquid scintillator in the ...
