List and Probabilistic Unique Decoding of Folded Subspace Codes

open access: yes, 2015
A new class of folded subspace codes for noncoherent network coding is presented. The codes can correct insertions and deletions beyond the unique decoding radius for any code rate $R\in[0,1]$. An efficient interpolation-based decoding algorithm for this

List Decoding of Matrix-Product Codes from nested codes: an application to Quasi-Cyclic codes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A list decoding algorithm for matrix-product codes is provided when $C_1,..., C_s$ are nested linear codes and $A$ is a non-singular by columns matrix. We estimate the probability of getting more than one codeword as output when the constituent codes are

Secure list decoding

open access: yes2019 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory (ISIT), 2019
We propose a new concept of secure list decoding. While the conventional list decoding requires that the list contains the transmitted message, secure list decoding requires the following additional security conditions. The first additional security condition is the impossibility of the correct decoding, i.e., the receiver cannot uniquely identify the ...

Ratio List Decoding

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2019
We extend the notion of list decoding to {\em ratio list decoding} which involves a list decoder whose list size is specified as a function of the number of messages $M_n$ and the block length $n$. We present necessary and sufficient conditions on $M_n$ for the existence of code sequences which enable reliable list decoding with respect to the desired ...

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Fast Node Polar Decoding Method Based on Hybrid Parity Check and CRC

open access: yesIEEE Access
In the case of short code, polar code demonstrates superior performance compared with Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) code. Particularly in low coding rate scenario, the complexity of Polar code encoding and decoding is significantly lower than that of ...

Fast-SSC-Flip Decoding of Polar Codes

open access: yes, 2018
Polar codes are widely considered as one of the most exciting recent discoveries in channel coding. For short to moderate block lengths, their error-correction performance under list decoding can outperform that of other modern error-correcting codes ...

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

SSCANL decoder based joint iterative detection and decoding algorithm

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2022
In order to improve the receiver performance of the sparse code multiple access (SCMA) system based on polar codes, the cyclic redundancy check (CRC) aided joint iterative detection and decoding receiver scheme based on simplify soft cancellation list ...

List Decoding of Locally Repairable Codes

open access: yes, 2018
We show that locally repairable codes (LRCs) can be list decoded efficiently beyond the Johnson radius for a large range of parameters by utilizing the local error correction capabilities. The new decoding radius is derived and the asymptotic behavior is
