Structural Diversity of Lithium Neopentoxide Compounds

Inorganic Chemistry, 2001
The reaction of LiN(SiMe(3))(2) with 1 equiv of HOCH(2)CMe(3) (HONep) in toluene led to the formation of [Li(mu3-ONep)](8) (1). The complex adopts a novel dual-edge fused hexagon-square prismatic structure with a C(2v) axis of rotation that relates the top and bottom eight-membered rings.

Lithium analysis using reflection EELS for lithium compounds

Journal of Electron Spectroscopy and Related Phenomena, 2015
Abstract Analyses of Li has been performed by reflection electron energy-loss spectroscopy (REELS) technique, using a scanning electron microscopy (SEM) apparatus, where Li signals can be detected with high spatial resolution without severe requirements for sample shapes.

ESR dosimetry with lithium, potassium, and sodium compounds

Applied Radiation and Isotopes, 2022
This work consists of a first investigation of materials that could be used as ESR dosimeters with doses up to 5 Gy aiming possible applications that would include retrospective dosimetry or dosimetry in specific applications. The characteristics considered were radiological properties close to that of soft tissues, evaluated through their effective ...

Lithium intercalation in KxTi8O16 compounds

International Journal of Inorganic Materials, 1999
Several bronzes KxTi8O16 have been prepared from K1.64(1)Ti8O16 by means of oxidative reactions. These bronzes have been intercalated with lithium by electrochemical methods in order to test their performances as electrode materials in lithium rechargeable batteries.

Lithium Compound Treatment and Psoriasis

Archives of Dermatology, 1979
Observations were made of 12 cases of psoriasis that developed and three cases of psoriasis that became exacerbated during treatment with lithium compounds. Only two patients had a family history of psoriasis, and results of a search for increased frequencies of the histocompatibility antigens seen in psoriasis vulgaris were negative.

Charge and valence in lithium compounds

Chemical Physics Letters, 1992
Abstract Ab initio calculations on hydrides and small lithium compounds with 4–31G, 6–31G* and 6–31G** basis sets are analyzed with respect to atomic net charges and covalent bonding. A weighted and contracted orthogonalization scheme and a multipole analysis are used.
