Lithium Fluoride in Electrolyte for Stable and Safe Lithium‐Metal Batteries
Advances in Materials, 2021Electrolyte engineering via fluorinated additives is promising to improve cycling stability and safety of high‐energy Li‐metal batteries. Here, an electrolyte is reported in a porous lithium fluoride (LiF) strategy to enable efficient carbonate ...

Restricted by the poor ability of polymers to dissociate lithium salts and transport ions, solid‐state polymer electrolytes (SPEs) show extremely low ionic conductivities (≈10−7–10−5 S cm−1) and transference number of lithium ions (tLi+ ≈0.2–0.4) at 25 ...

Lithium Fluoride Thermoluminescence Dosimetry
Physics in Medicine and Biology, 1964Commercially available lithium fluoride thermoluminescent powder has been studied with a specially built readout device. Glow curves were recorded against temperature, and the area under them was integrated. A dispenser to deliver 30 mg batches of powder with a precision of 1% was built.

Anion Donicity of Liquid electrolytes for Lithium Carbon Fluoride Batteries.
Angewandte Chemie, 2022The increasing demand for high-energy powers have greatly incentivized the development of lithium carbon fluoride (Li || CF x ) cells. Five kinds of non-aqueous liquid electrolytes with various kinds of lithium salts (LiX, X = PF 6 - , TFSI - , BF 4 ...

Lithium Fluoride Thermoluminescence Dosimetry
Radiology, 1966MANY MATERIALS in which irradiation causes excitation of electrons into energy states, which are stable at room temperature, have been found useful for thermoluminescence dosimetry. On subsequent heating of such a material, the de-excitation of the electrons results in the emission of light, and the light intensity may be plotted as a function of time ...

Lithium Fluoride Coated Silicon Nanocolumns as Anodes for Lithium-Ion Batteries.
ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, 2020Silicon (Si) films are promising anode materials in thin film lithium batteries due to their high capacity of 3578 mAh g-1, but the huge volume expansion of lithiated Li15Si4 and the unstable solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) preclude their practical ...
