Lithium-induced EEG changes in patients with affective disorders [PDF]
In 12 patients with affective disorders (ICD-10: F31, F32, F33), EEGs were recorded before and after 4.4 months of lithium treatment. Effects of lithium on the EEG were analyzed by power spectral analysis controlled for vigilance.

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

Counterion Dependent Side‐Chain Relaxation Stiffens a Chemically Doped Thienothiophene Copolymer
Oxidation of a thienothiophene copolymer, p(g3TT‐T2), via different doping strategies and dopant molecules resulted in materials with similar oxidation levels and a high electrical conductivity of ≈100 S cm−1. However, mechanical properties varied significantly, with sub‐glass transition temperatures and elastic moduli spanning from –44°C to –3°C and ...

Recovery of lithium from spent aluminum electrolyte through a novel acidic complex leaching process
An acidic complex leaching process with iron-containing solution was developed to recover lithium from spent aluminum electrolyte, one of the solid wastes containing high contents of lithium, aluminum, and fluorine, from aluminum electrolysis industry ...

Receptor‐Free Identification of Toxic Gases Enabled by Hygroscopic Aqueous Salt Films
Water as a gas sensor coating sounds impossible—until it stops evaporating. Here, hygroscopic salt solutions (LiCl, LiBr, H3PO4) form non‐drying aqueous films on CNT chemiresistors under ambient air. Gases partition into these liquid layers, sometimes transforming into water, and generate salt‐specific resistance fingerprints across a four‐channel ...

A Missing Link: Nutritional Healing in Recovery [PDF]
The journey of students in a Collegiate Recovery Program (CRP) begins with early recovery and continues towards a well-developed mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical state. Much emphasis is placed on mental, emotional, and spiritual healing through

A soft, dual‐channel hydrogel patch enables simultaneous detection of wound temperature and strain by integrating ion‐diffusion‐mediated thermoelectric and resistive sensing. The conformal design maintains stable performance during motion, capturing subtle inflammatory and mechanical changes for continuous wound monitoring.

Eating Disorder Recovery: Fostering an Inclusive Culture [PDF]
Eating disorder (ED) recovery is often difficult to define, which may leave those offering recovery support feeling lost and discouraged when determining ED services in their Collegiate Recovery Program (CRP).

Hierarchical coordination engineering redistributes Li+ from anion‐dominated pairing toward polymer‐mediated binding. Strong primary sites promote salt dissociation, while distributed secondary sites sustain dynamic hopping pathways. This coordination landscape couples ion flux with polysulfide conversion, suppresses transport‐conversion decoupling ...
