Prospects for the use of pumice from Georgia in lightweight concretes
Lightweight concrete is a building material with a density not exceeding 2000 kg/m3. Its structure is determined by the structure of the used components and manufacturing methods.

Shallow landsliding and catchment connectivity within the Houpoto Forest, New Zealand. [PDF]
Active landslides and their contribution to catchment connectivity have been investigated within the Houpoto Forest, North Island, New Zealand. The aim was to quantify the proportion of buffered versus coupled landslides and explore how specific physical

Integrated petrographic, mineralogical and geochemical data from the Hastanetepe Pb–Zn deposit (Balya, Türkiye) reveal multi‐stage hydrothermal alteration and a magmatic sulphur source. Fluid inclusion and sulphur isotope results indicate a complex fluid evolution responsible for skarn‐type Pb–Zn mineralization along limestone–dacite contacts ...

Holocene sea‐level and environmental changes on the Isle of Mull, Scotland
ABSTRACT Sea‐level and coastal changes are reconstructed on the Isle of Mull, western Scotland, from 10 988 to 10 507 cal BP to the present. This research has produced the first SLIP for the Isle of Mull. A multiproxy approach including pollen, spore, foraminifera and diatom analyses reveals palaeoenvironmental changes from two coastal sites.

Isheyevo Meteorite: Genetic link between CH and CB chondrites? [PDF]
Based on the mineralogy, petrography, bulk chemical, oxygen, and nintrogen isotopic compositions and 40Ar-39Ar age, Isheyevo is genetically related to CH and CB carbonaceous chondrites and provides a link between these group of pristine ...

Abstract Holocene relative sea level (RSL) changes were reconstructed from four sites along the less‐studied southern Solway Firth. A multiproxy approach, including lithostratigraphical and biostratigraphical analyses, combined with radiocarbon dating, produced ten sea level index points (SLIPs).

ABSTRACT Complex relative sea‐level (RSL) changes are associated with the deglaciation of the British and Irish Ice Sheet (BIIS). Sediment archives from Loch Bad na h‐Achlaise, an isolation basin in NW Scotland, UK, span Late Glacial to Holocene time and record sea‐level change and ice proximity via a geochemical and biostratigraphic multiproxy ...
