Early warning signals of common vole population growth in continental Mediterranean farmlands recurrently affected by outbreaks

Rodent outbreaks have significant socio‐economic impacts worldwide, and anticipation is crucial for timely management decisions. We combined rainfall and periodicity data to provide an early warning signal of vole population growth in Mediterranean farmlands, a year in advance of a peak.
