Aflatoxin effects in livestock [PDF]
AbstractFeeding trials were conducted with swine, beef cattle, dairy cattle and poultry to determine adverse effects, if any, of graded levels of aflatoxins in rations. In addition, samples of meat, eggs and milk from these animals were analyzed chemically to determine if aflatoxin was transmitted into these products.

In this chapter, I revisit my experience of being employed in industrial pig farms, concerning employees as well as the violence of the work. I will go on to demonstrate how and why the industrial organization of work with animals is a cause of ethical suffering, which is experienced through inflicting suffering on others.
