Ocean Acidification: Another Planetary Boundary Crossed

In this study, employing a detailed analysis of ocean carbonate system observations, models and biological assessments, we demonstrate that by year 2020, the average global ocean conditions had already crossed into the range of the uncertainty of the ocean acidification boundary.

Založnica on Ljubljana moor - a settlement of Somogyvár-Vinkovci Culture

The results are presented of archaeological and dendrochronological research at the site of Zaloznica near Kamnikpod Krimom in the Ljubljansko barje, Slovenia. The most significant settlement remains are related to the Somogyvár-Vinkovci Culture and are dated approximately to the 25th century BC.
