LLaMA Pro: Progressive LLaMA with Block Expansion

open access: yesProceedings of the 62nd Annual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics (Volume 1: Long Papers)
Humans generally acquire new skills without compromising the old; however, the opposite holds for Large Language Models (LLMs), e.g., from LLaMA to CodeLLaMA. To this end, we propose a new post-pretraining method for LLMs with an expansion of Transformer blocks.

Ossifying Fibroma in a Llama [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Veterinary Diagnostic Investigation, 2000
A 4.5-year-old llama was admitted for evaluation of a firm mass rostral and ventral to the medial canthus of the left eye.
