Cholesterol Laundry of Cell Membrane and Fatty Liver by Detergent Liposomes to Improve Anti‐Cancer Drug Responsiveness of Patient Liver Tissues

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cholesterol‐enriched plasma membranes in hepatocellular carcinoma impede drug penetration. Cholesterol (+)‐liposomes act as membrane‐specific detergents, extracting cholesterol and reducing barrier function without cytotoxicity. Following endocytosis, cholesterol transfers from endosomes to liposomes and is metabolized in the ER.

Efficient In‐Hardware Matrix–Vector Multiplication and Addition Exploiting Bilinearity of Schottky Barrier Transistors Processed on Industrial FDSOI

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tasks have stretched traditional hardware to its limits. In‐hardware computation is a novel approach that aims to run complex operations, such as matrix–vector multiplication, directly at the device level for increased efficiency.

A high efficiency half-bridge LLC converter with simple hold-up compensation circuit

open access: yes, 2015
The half-bridge (HB) LLC converter has been widely used in medium power applications because of low component count, no transformer dc-offset current, and wide zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) range.

Advancing Energy Materials by In Situ Atomic Scale Methods

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 15, Issue 11, March 18, 2025.
Progress in in situ atomic scale methods leads to an improved understanding of new and advanced energy materials, where a local understanding of complex, inhomogeneous systems or interfaces down to the atomic scale and quantum level is required. Topics from photovoltaics, dissipation losses, phase transitions, and chemical energy conversion are ...

Theoretical analysis and optimal design of LLC resonant converter

open access: yes, 2007
A LLC resonant topology is analyzed to derive efficiency and cost optimal design for wide input ranges and load variations. In the LLC converter, a wide range of output power is controlled with only a narrow variation in operating frequency since this ...

Controlling Exsolution Dynamics in High‐Entropy Oxides for Highly Active and Selective Acetylene Semi‐Hydrogenation

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Li+‐induced lattice distortion, valence variation, and local charge redistribution in a rock salt‐structured high‐entropy oxide enable controlled metal exsolution, altering the Cu–Ni–Co exsolution sequence and delivering a surface Cu0‐enriched catalyst with exceptional activity and ethylene selectivity for acetylene semi‐hydrogenation.
