Efficient In‐Hardware Matrix–Vector Multiplication and Addition Exploiting Bilinearity of Schottky Barrier Transistors Processed on Industrial FDSOI

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tasks have stretched traditional hardware to its limits. In‐hardware computation is a novel approach that aims to run complex operations, such as matrix–vector multiplication, directly at the device level for increased efficiency.

Advancing Energy Materials by In Situ Atomic Scale Methods

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 15, Issue 11, March 18, 2025.
Progress in in situ atomic scale methods leads to an improved understanding of new and advanced energy materials, where a local understanding of complex, inhomogeneous systems or interfaces down to the atomic scale and quantum level is required. Topics from photovoltaics, dissipation losses, phase transitions, and chemical energy conversion are ...

Modulation of Local Environment for Selective Bicarbonate Conversion to Multi‐Carbon Products

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Highly porous Cu electrode partially coated with an ionomer/carbon composite enables efficient conversion of bicarbonate to multi‐carbon products. By regulating the local reaction microenvironment, this strategy overcomes selectivity and reaction‐rate limitations, achieving Faradaic efficiencies of 43% for ethylene and 60% for total multi‐carbon ...

LLC resonant converter modelling

open access: yes, 2014
Many of today's power converters use pulse-width modulation(PWM) techniques to regulate the circulating currents and voltages. A significant problem with most dc-dc converters is the increased power loss during switching. These devices typically operate in hard-switching mode which results in switching losses.

Differential Equation Model of the LLC Resonant Converter in the Ideal Case

open access: yesEnergies, 2020
The LLC resonant converter has been widely used in direct current (DC) power supply applications. However, fundamental harmonic approximation or other simplified analyses will introduce inevitable deviations.

Analysis and Design of a 50-kW Two Stage Converters for EV Fast Charger With High Efficiency and Wide Output Voltage of 150–1000 V

open access: yesIEEE Access
Generally, the DC-DC converters used in DC fast chargers must cover a wide output voltage with a fixed input voltage, and a single module needs to supply 30-50 kW of power.

A Novel High Efficiency Quasi-Resonant Converter

open access: yesEnergies, 2018
In this paper, a new constant-frequency quasi-resonant converter is proposed. Compared with the traditional LLC converter, the proposed converter can effectively reduce the range of the operating frequency.

Digitally Implemented Charge Control for LLC Resonant Converters

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2017
This paper proposes a digitally implemented charge control for LLC resonant converters. By analyzing the small-signal characteristics of the resonant capacitor, it is revealed that the resonant capacitor has exactly the same functionality as a resettable integrator in the charge control for a PWM converter.
