Load modulated massive MIMO

2014 IEEE Global Conference on Signal and Information Processing (GlobalSIP), 2014
We propose a new hardware architecture for cost-and size-effective implementation of massive MIMO transmitters based on load modulation that is fully compatible with standard receiver architectures. With load modulation, a massive MIMO transmitter can be driven by a single power amplifier operating at constant envelope.

LSE Precoder for Load Modulated Arrays With Channel Modulation

IEEE Wireless Communications Letters, 2020
In this letter, we consider novel multiuser precoding techniques suited for load modulated arrays (LMAs) on the downlink, wherein a base station employs an LMA to transmit data to multiple users. For implementation simplicity, it is desired that the antenna load impedance values in the LMA are drawn from a discrete set.

Load Modulated Arrays Using Channel Modulation with RF Mirrors

2019 IEEE 89th Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC2019-Spring), 2019
Multiantenna transmission using load modulated arrays (LMAs) is gaining recent research interest. LMAs use a single central power amplifier and tune the antenna loads according to the information signal. In this paper, we propose a novel multiantenna transmitter architecture that can enable high-rate transmissions using LMAs.

Blast Loads for Offshore Modules

Offshore Technology Conference, 1991
ABSTRACT This paper discusses the methods by which the overpressures created by a hydrocarbon explosion within a congested offshore module may be calculated. The nature of the results obtained from numerical simulation are discussed leading to an approach by which a structural loading suitable for use in a linear ...

Module of Additional Orthogonal Load

2020
Based on the slip model in the setting of M. Ya. Leonov, the Cicala problem of the additional loading modulus is solved for the orthogonal break of the loading trajectory. The solution has shown that if we duly handle the model parameters, it is possible to eliminate the disadvantage of the Batdorf and Budiansky model revealed by Cicala.

Analysis of Load-Impedance Modulation

Proceedings of the IRE, 1939
A new type of modulation for television transmitters which was proposed recently is investigated. The relations referring to the operation of the network, of the modulator, and of the radio-frequency amplifier tubes are derived as well as the expressions for the sideband attenuation characteristic.
