Module of Additional Orthogonal Load
2020Based on the slip model in the setting of M. Ya. Leonov, the Cicala problem of the additional loading modulus is solved for the orthogonal break of the loading trajectory. The solution has shown that if we duly handle the model parameters, it is possible to eliminate the disadvantage of the Batdorf and Budiansky model revealed by Cicala.

LSE Precoder for Load Modulated Arrays With Channel Modulation
IEEE Wireless Communications Letters, 2020In this letter, we consider novel multiuser precoding techniques suited for load modulated arrays (LMAs) on the downlink, wherein a base station employs an LMA to transmit data to multiple users. For implementation simplicity, it is desired that the antenna load impedance values in the LMA are drawn from a discrete set.

Visual perceptual load modulates an auditory microreflex
Psychophysiology, 2009AbstractThe postauricular reflex (PAR) is a vestigial microreflex evoked by an abrupt auditory onset. Previous studies have indicated that the PAR is unaffected by auditory selective attention. Here, we report that the PAR can be modulated by a crossmodal manipulation of attentional demands within the visual modality.

Electromagnetic Disruption Loads on ITER Blanket Modules
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 2010In this paper we compute the electromagnetic loads (forces, torques, Joule losses) on passive conductors of the international thermonuclear experimental reactor (ITER) fusion device, currently under construction, following a disruption event, i.e., the sudden loss of magnetic confinement.

Analysis of Load-Impedance Modulation
Proceedings of the IRE, 1939A new type of modulation for television transmitters which was proposed recently is investigated. The relations referring to the operation of the network, of the modulator, and of the radio-frequency amplifier tubes are derived as well as the expressions for the sideband attenuation characteristic.

Load Modulated Arrays Using Channel Modulation with RF Mirrors
2019 IEEE 89th Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC2019-Spring), 2019Multiantenna transmission using load modulated arrays (LMAs) is gaining recent research interest. LMAs use a single central power amplifier and tune the antenna loads according to the information signal. In this paper, we propose a novel multiantenna transmitter architecture that can enable high-rate transmissions using LMAs.

Supply Modulation of a Broadband Load Modulated Balanced Amplifier
2018 IEEE/MTT-S International Microwave Symposium - IMS, 2018This work presents multi-level supply modulation of a load modulated balanced amplifier (LMBA). The RF-input LMBA employs dynamic active matching for efficient operation over an octave bandwidth. Supply modulation is a natural candidate to further enhance the back-off efficiency of this broadband amplifier due to its independence on RF carrier ...

Analysis of transmission line periodically loaded with modulated loads
2009 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, 2009Periodic structures have gained an ever-growing importance within the antennas and microwaves communities since they are the basic block in frequency-selective surfaces, microwave filters, electromagnetic bandgap structures, metamaterials …etc. With new applications proposed for these structures, analysis of periodic structures using analytical as well
