Adenosine‐to‐inosine editing of miR‐200b‐3p is associated with the progression of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

Two-stage optimal dispatch of power system considering carbon emission flow and demand response

open access: yes电力工程技术
The access of wind power reduces the carbon emissions of the power system from the generation side, and the introduction of demand response to eliminate wind abandonment provides a new idea for carbon reduction from the load side.

Integrated genomic and proteomic profiling reveals insights into chemoradiation resistance in cervical cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

Source-network-load-storage collaborated two-stage power dispatch of active distribution network with conditional value-at-risk

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems
The high penetration of distributed wind turbines (WT) and photovoltaics (PV) brings temporal volatility and uncertainty to their output, posing significant challenges to the optimal scheduling of distribution networks.

Scheduling stored combat load retrieval

open access: yesJournal of Defense Analytics and Logistics, 2018
Purpose This paper aims to raise awareness of a potential planning pitfall and provide recommendations on how to assess and improve upon current practices. In potential conflict areas, such as the Korean Theater of Operations (KTO), military forces are required to store a portion of their ammunition combat load within depots and ammunition supply ...

Modeling hepatic fibrosis in TP53 knockout iPSC‐derived human liver organoids

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study developed iPSC‐derived human liver organoids with TP53 gene knockout to model human liver fibrosis. These organoids showed elevated myofibroblast activation, early disease markers, and advanced fibrotic hallmarks. The use of profibrotic differentiation medium further amplified the fibrotic signature seen in the organoids.

Congestion costs in bottleneck equilibrium with stochastic capacity and demand [PDF]

open access: yes
I analyse congestion costs in the Vickrey bottleneck model of a congestible facility with a peak load in demand. The shape of the peak is endogenous, being the sum of individual scheduling decisions.

PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells enhances bortezomib sensitivity in multiple myeloma cells by altering their metabolism

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study investigated how PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) indirectly affects multiple myeloma (MM) cell metabolism and viability. Culturing MM cells in conditioned medium from PYCR1‐silenced BMSCs impaired oxidative phosphorylation and increased sensitivity to bortezomib.
