Multi-objective optimization of grid connected photovoltaics and V2G operation based on the influence of schedulable capacity

open access: yes电力工程技术
The disorderly charging of large-scale electric vehicles connected to the power grid will lead to excessive load variance in the distribution network system.

Virtual machine scheduling strategy based on machine learning algorithms for load balancing

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking, 2019
With the rapid increase of user access, load balancing in cloud data center has become an important factor affecting cluster stability. From the point of view of green scheduling, this paper proposed a virtual machine intelligent scheduling strategy ...

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

The Batch Loading and Scheduling Problem

open access: yesOperations Research, 2001
This paper discusses the problem of batching and scheduling of certain kinds of batch processors. Examples of these processors include heat treatment facilities, particularly in the steel and ceramics industries, as well as a variety of operations in the manufacture of integrated circuits.

Patient‐specific pharmacogenomics demonstrates xCT as predictive therapeutic target in colon cancer with possible implications in tumor connectivity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study integrates transcriptomic profiling of matched tumor and healthy tissues from 32 colorectal cancer patients with functional validation in patient‐derived organoids, revealing dysregulated metabolic programs driven by overexpressed xCT (SLC7A11) and SLC3A2, identifying an oncogenic cystine/glutamate transporter signature linked to ...

Relating goal scheduling, precedence, and memory management in and-parallel execution of logic programs

open access: yes, 1987
The interactions among three important issues involved in the implementation of logic programs in parallel (goal scheduling, precedence, and memory management) are discussed. A simplified, parallel memory management model and an efficient, load-balancing

Feasibility of a ctDNA multigenic panel for non‐small‐cell lung cancer early detection and disease surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Plasma‐based detection of actionable mutations is a promising approach in lung cancer management. Analysis of ctDNA with a multigene NGS panel identified TP53, KRAS, and EGFR as the most frequently altered, with TP53 and KRAS in treatment‐naïve patients and TP53 and EGFR in previously treated patients.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).
