Biologically Younger Individuals, as Identified by MARK‐AGE Biological Age Scores, Display a Distinct Favourable Blood Chemistry Profile Regardless of Age

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 3, March 2026.
Using sets of biomarkers of human ageing, a ‘bioage’ score was established allowing calculation of ‘age difference’ (bioage minus chronological age). Age difference, but not chronological age, was correlated with levels of HDL, Vitamin D, and CD3+ CD4+/CD45+ ratio, with biologically younger subjects displaying favourable values, pointing to a role of ...

Classical Particle in Presence of Magnetic Field, Hyperbolic Lobachevsky and Spherical Riemann Models

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2010
Motion of a classical particle in 3-dimensional Lobachevsky and Riemann spaces is studied in the presence of an external magnetic field which is analogous to a constant uniform magnetic field in Euclidean space.

Effect of preliminary rapid annealing on the photoluminescence of nanosized silicon inclusions in multilayered SiOx/SiO2 and SiOx/ZrO2 structures [PDF]

open access: yesModern Electronic Materials
The effect of rapid thermal annealing (RTA) at 950 and 1000 °C for 3 min on the photoluminescence (PL) in multilayered (~50 layers) nanoperiodical (4/3 nm) a-SiOx/SiO2 and a-SiOx/ZrO2 nanostrucutres (MNS) synthesized using vacuum evaporation has been ...

Propagator on theh-deformed Lobachevsky plane [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, 1999
The action of the isometry algebra U_h(sl(2)) on the h-deformed Lobachevsky plane is found. The invariant distance and the invariant 2-point functions are shown to agree precisely with the classical ones. The propagator of the Laplacian is calculated explicitely. It is invariant only after adding a `non-classical' sector to the Hilbert space.

Dimer models and conformal structures

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 79, Issue 2, Page 340-446, February 2026.
Abstract Dimer models have been the focus of intense research efforts over the last years. Our paper grew out of an effort to develop new methods to study minimizers or the asymptotic height functions of general dimer models and the geometry of their frozen boundaries.

Search for new apatite-like phases for lead utilization based on crystal structure and thermal expansion [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Serbian Chemical Society
Apatites, being one of the most numerous mineral-like families of compounds, are considered as a matrix for binding lead ions, which is dangerous for the biosphere.

Curvature‐dimension condition of sub‐Riemannian α$\alpha$‐Grushin half‐spaces

open access: yesTransactions of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 12, Issue 1, December 2025.
Abstract We provide new examples of sub‐Riemannian manifolds with boundary equipped with a smooth measure that satisfy the RCD(K,N)$\mathsf {RCD}(K, N)$ condition. They are constructed by equipping the half‐plane, the hemisphere and the hyperbolic half‐plane with a two‐dimensional almost‐Riemannian structure and a measure that vanishes on their ...

TTV Species Diversity as a Novel Biomarker of Immune Dysregulation in Aging

open access: yesJournal of Medical Virology, Volume 97, Issue 11, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Torquetenovirus (TTV) is a prevalent virus whose clinical significance remains unclear, potentially linked to immunosenescence. This study examines TTV species in relation to immune impairment, inflammation, and cellular stress response in aging.

Effect of extremely low-frequency magnetic fields on light-induced electric reactions in wheat

open access: yesPlant Signaling & Behavior, 2022
Magnetic field oscillations resulting from atmospheric events could have an effect on growth and development of plants and on the responsive reactions of plants to other environmental factors.
