Propagator on theh-deformed Lobachevsky plane [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, 1999
The action of the isometry algebra U_h(sl(2)) on the h-deformed Lobachevsky plane is found. The invariant distance and the invariant 2-point functions are shown to agree precisely with the classical ones. The propagator of the Laplacian is calculated explicitely. It is invariant only after adding a `non-classical' sector to the Hilbert space.

Particular Cases of Quasi-Parallelograms of Type I on the Lobachevsky Plane

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Sciences, 2023
The Lobachevsky plane known also as the hyperbolic plane or the Bolyai-Lobachevsky plane, is a non-Euclidean plane such that for a given point and a given line, which are non-incident, there exist at least two lines passing through the point and parallel to the line. The authors give a list of four types of so-called quasi-parallelograms in Lobachevsky

A Quantum Dot with Impurity in the Lobachevsky Plane [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The curvature effect on a quantum dot with impurity is investigated. The model is considered on the Lobachevsky plane. The confinement and impurity potentials are chosen so that the model is explicitly solvable. The Green function as well as the Krein Q-function are computed.

Zero modes in a system of Aharonov–Bohm solenoids on the Lobachevsky plane [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, 2006
We consider a spin 1/2 charged particle on the Lobachevsky plane subjected to a magnetic field corresponding to a discrete system of Aharonov-Bohm solenoids. Let $H^+$ and $H^-$ be the two components of the Pauli operator for spin up and down, respectively. We show that neither $H^+$ nor $H^-$ has a zero mode if the number of solenoids is finite.

The Landau-Lifshitz Flow of Maps into the Lobachevsky Plane

open access: yesFunkcialaj Ekvacioj, 2004
The global existence of weak and strong solutions to the Cauchy problem for the Landau-Lifshitz flow of maps on the one-dimensional torus into the Lobachevsky plane is proved by the method of higher order parabolic regularization and energy esimates.

The diamond-silicon carbide composite Skeleton® as a promising material for substrates of intense X-ray beam optics. [PDF]

open access: yesJ Synchrotron Radiat
A new material for substrates of optical elements used under ultra‐powerful X‐ray beams is described – the diamond‐silicon carbide composite Skeleton®. The composition and structure of the material, its surface roughness with a technological coating of polycrystalline silicon and its thermophysical characteristics are studied. The paper considers the ...
